Burgh Island Wedding Photographer

7 December 2011

A lovely interruption from designing albums this week came today from Charlotte and James who send me this great testimonial for our work at their Burgh Island Wedding back in August.  Thanks Charlotte, thanks James. Made my day.

We are so delighted that we found John and Nina for our wedding – they were brilliant, professional and great fun to have around on the day!

We really think it made a massive difference to have two photographers there. Nina was the perfect addition to our bridal party, smiley and girly, she fit right in and made us feel very relaxed. Meanwhile John was equally lovely and able to capture the special moments on the grooms side – which we feel worked really well.

John followed our brief perfectly and has provided us with a truly beautiful collection of artistic images to help us remember our big day.  We were looking for a cinematic, creative style – and John really listened to us and captured that perfectly – finding reflections and abstract views that are truly stunning. Jon and Nina also captured beautifully the emotion and colour of the day, giving us a collection of precious, emotive memories of our loved ones.

We were also looking for a friendly, relaxed style, in both the images and the presence of the photography team on the day. John and Nina were perfect in this respect; always smiling, it really was a joy to have them there. I also want to say a big thank you to John for not just being a photographer, but also using his wedding experience to make sure our day went smoothly. It was almost as if we got a wedding planner throw in too, and being wedding rookies – we were very grateful. And he even delighted my mum with a spin around the dance floor!

It has been a really nice touch to have all our images available on the website – meaning all our friends and family can see all the pictures where ever they are. This has been really valuable for us as we have friends round the world who couldn’t make it who have loved seeing our big day. The pictures have been seen online all over the world from Peru to Hong Kong to Australia! It’s also really lovely to have videos of our ceremony, speeches and first dance – special memories that we will be able to keep forever.

We simply can’t recommend John and Nina highly enough. Our wedding was our dream day and we are so lucky to have chosen John and Nina to capture it – they make the perfect team.
