About My Wedding Photography
I thoroughly enjoy capturing memories and telling the story of a couple's very special day. There is so much joy and emotion in the air and so many happy, smiling people enjoying themselves that I end up with a grin on my face for most of the day as well. A wedding day is a wedding day and not a portrait photo shoot so we fit in unobtrusively, ensuring everyone is at ease with us and our cameras, to capture you, your family and friends as you know them...laughing, smiling, having fun and looking good!
About John Miles Photography
I am a full time professional wedding photographer living by the water in Plymouth. When I'm not photographing weddings I take every opportunity to grab my cameras and head for the moors, coast or rivers. Please do relax and enjoy a slideshow of my work on my Creative Website. I am pleased to have be awarded a Licentiate membership of the Royal Photographic Society and actively support and encourage fellow photographers across the world.
Nina Wickmann works with me as my second photographer. Nina moved to England from Norway in 2000 where she studied Editorial and Advertising Photography at Rochester School of Photography in Kent. She returned to Oslo in 2004 where she has worked as a full time professional wedding and portrait photographer for the last six years. In 2009 she came third in Norway's ´Wedding photographer of the Year' competion. Nina moved to Devon in January this year from where she also runs her Devon portrait photography business.

I switched careers back in 2002 when I gave up running high-tech software companies to build a career that I love. Here's a couple of features on me from ITV's Westcounty News Making It and BBC's Countryfile Summer Diaries.
