A Victorian wedding for Jean & Paul
Jean and Paul organised a Victorian wedding last Saturday in Lynton and Lynmouth in North Devon. Jean's wedding dress looked stunning with some fabulous detailing and Paul looked most dashing in his top hat and tails. Lynton/Lynmouth is a perfect venue for a vintage theme with its Victorian Town Hall and Cliff Railway. Jean arrived in a horse and carriage, a chimney sweep was there for good luck and the champagne was vintage too!
Jean and Paul asked for some of their wedding photographs to match this theme so here are a few of my favourite 'vintage' images.

Thank You Emily and Mark
Emily sent me her list of 100 images for their album today and enclosed a card with these very kind words. Thank you Emily and Mark.

Dear John
Thank you so much for the beautiful photos you took at our wedding at Cadhay House.
We cannot say how pleased we are with the photographs and are having real trouble trying to narrow them down to an acceptable amount to put on the wall!
Thank you also for everything we did on the day. You were so friendly and relaxed and completely unobtrusive. Everyone commented on how easy you made the group photos and they took no time at all. We actually found that your photography added to the day rather than detracting from it.
Thank you again, we feel that the photos were the best investment of our wedding and we will treasure them forever.
We'll have no hesitation in recommending you to everyone we know.
Many Thanks,
Emily & Mark Westlake.

Rain, Rain Go Away
Unfortunately the rain stayed for most of the day on Lucy and Lee's wedding last Saturday at Maker Church and The Friary Manor Hotel in Cornwall. However, by the end of the meal the sun broke through to help celebrate their happy day. Lee is a Squadron Leader flying Hercules aircraft and his friends provided a Lucy with a Guard of Honour on arriving and leaving the church. They also shared out a bottle of port amongst themselves prior to the ceremony - a new tradition to me.
For their time-out and some romantic photos we went down to Mount Edgecumbe at Cremyl and despite the rain and umbrella Lucy and Lee were smiling and looking great.
And to top the day a Hercules just happened to fly by...

A Wonderful Wedding in Wembury
Phew what a scorcher it was on Saturday for Julia and Adam's wedding at Wembury Church and Langdon Court in a very sunny Devon. Adam's best man and ushers were up for a good day first thing in the morning and they weren't dissapointed. Jules looked absolutely gorgeous in a her wonderful flowing dress and Adam only stopped grinning for the few minutes of waiting for her to walk down the aisle with her very proud Dad.
From then on it was sun and smiles for all.
