I received an email form Hannah & David today with a lovely testimonial. Thanks guys. Hannah and David were married at Exminster St. Martins and The Lord Haldon Hotel, Nr. Exeter back in July.

After meeting John we were immediately impressed by his professional yet friendly approach. We spent some time discussing various ideas and together produced a detailed plan to ensure the day would run as smoothly as possible. John was able to advise us on the timings of the day which proved invaluable!!

During the day we found that John and his colleague Mag were very discreet yet were always in the right place at the right time. It was the most fantastic day and we are now able to re live every moment through our photographs which captured the atmosphere and emotion of the day beautifully.

Last Friday we were at Paul and Sheila's wedding at Boringdon Hall, Nr. Plymouth. The weather meant we didn't get outside at all but that didn't hamper lots and lots of happy smiling faces.

Stoodleigh Court is a perfect stately home wedding venue. Louise and Rob came down from London for a sunny wedding day last Saturday. I enjoy photographing at Stoodleigh. The grounds are lovely and colourful and the Great Hall is creatively well lit. Rob and Louise had put together a first dance routine to the James Bond 'Licence to Kill' theme tune. We all loved it and were most impressed. Here are a just a few of my favourite photos from their very special day.

Sarah and Phil invited 180 family and friends to their wedding at The Belmont Chapel in Exeter followed by a reception at Woodbury Park golf and country club. I like working at the Belmont not just because of the friendly atmosphere but also because it's very well lit!
At Woodbury Park we went for a tour of some photo locations in one of their golf buggies. The driver went off-road not realising that the rear wheels were kicking up mud onto Sarah's dress. Slight panic for a while until I dug out my wet weather camera drying towel that held stains at bay until we could get back to the clubhouse for Phil to take over with some rinses and drys.

Last Saturday's weather was atrocious but Sophie and Martin and their guests had a fun time anyway. I also enjoyed photographing their wedding in Torybryan in the South Hams and then on to a marquee in Sophie's parents' garden. The church was very colourful with flowers and candles and everyone in the wedding finery.
I photographed Sophie and Martin for some romantic couple photographs in her Dad's conservatory out of the rain and sophie loves the results.
