Wow, Thank You So Much
I received this thank you note this week from Jean & Paul. I'm very pleased they are pleased.
Dear John,
We felt that one of the most important elements of our wedding day would be our professional photographer. He or she has to capture the right moments, the right moods, the right atmosphere and the memories that fade in your minds eye, time and time again.
We interviewed many people but we knew straight away that you were the right person for the job.
We found in you a courteous, reassuring, agreeably firm, adventurous and imaginative person who left us smiling. You threaded your charm throughout the wedding day, putting both us and our guests at ease, whilst taking pictures of exceptional clarity, colour and ingenuity making full use of the magnificent Lynmouth backdrop that we could see you were infectiously excited to use. You organised timings with devilish ease and cast inventive scenarios that left us wanting more. The way you takes a throw-away snap at the end of each session is enchanting.
Not content with that you have a working partner, Mag, who was invaluably snapping away at the girls dressing and making ready for the big day without even seeming to be there yet able to cajole any manner of character out of them effortlessly and unprompted. She weaved in and out during the day quietly and logistically taking some of the most marvellously quirky shots.
Both yours and Mag's professionalism has left us with the unenviable task of reducing hundreds of stunning pictures down to what seems to be a handful for our wedding album, of which you have a plethora of combinations to choose from. Your wizardry knowledge of computers has given us a DVD slideshow that will give us endless hours of pleasure as we while away the years.
John, we know you are relatively new to the game but you have a fluency of mind that lends itself naturally to inventive photography and you have found in Mag a true gem. We think you have discovered your true vocation in life and we are much the richer for that.
Thank you so much,
Jean & Paul Kirkaldy-Shaw
