Professional and Talented After a long search for a photographer for our wedding we found devon wedding photographer John Miles. I was first impressed by the fact John promptly replied to my enquiry, so many don't! The website was great I could get a real feel for how John and Mag's work. The reportage style was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to capture the spirit of our wedding day and didn't want a lot of staged photos, we met with John and he soon put our minds to rest. John is very organised and politely but firmly got me to commit to a plan for the day and a list of the group photos that we wanted. Which meant we didn't have to be asked any unnecessary questions on the day or worry about missing anyone. Mag's covered the girls getting ready and her calm demeanour was a blessing, she even helped me do up my wedding dress! John and Mag make a great team they which is clear from the results, we didn't feel harassed in the slightest by them, they blended into our wedding party. We got a message whilst on honeymoon that the photos had been uploaded and spent a lovely couple of hours reviewing them online and reliving every moment of our special day. We are thrilled with our photos they are everything we hoped for, a brilliant, accurate and beautiful record of our day. I would recommend John to anyone looking for a professional, talented and affordable photographer. Debra Dean |

Delightful and 'Around' without 'Taking Over' Just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you and Mag so much for the Wedding Photos. It was a pleasure having you both at the Wedding, and lots of the guests commented on how lovely you both were too. Difficult to put into words, but I have been to weddings where the photographer has been a bit of a tyrant and taken over the event! So many special moments We were thinking back to the day and what we liked about how it went. We really liked the way that you and Mag were so relaxed and fitted in with the day. We hardly noticed you were there! We appreciated the help with timings on the day and believe that a lot of the smooth running was down to yourselves. We liked the way that the photos on your website were available so soon after the day, and really appreciated the fast turnaround of the DVD and slideshow. As for the photos themselves, we love the way that they capture so many special moments, and the more informal photos really do reflect the emotions of the day. In summary, we don’t think there is anything we would have changed, and would definitely recommend you to anyone else wanting their photos not just to remember who was there but to really capture the atmosphere on the day. Fun and Unobtrusive After the initial consultation with John we immediately knew this was the right team to capture our special day. And on the day the professional and relaxed way in which John and Mag work made the photography fun and unobtrusive, much of the time we didn't even know they were there! We decided that we wanted a mix of both formal and reportage style photos and allowed John to use his artistic integrity. By the time we landed on our honeymoon the photos were available for us to look at on the web and they were absolutely amazing! It is rare to find such a combination of artistic talent and technical ability. On arriving back in the UK we met up with John again to discuss the album and format, another part of the very personal and individual service. We have since ordered more prints from the website which is very simple to use. In short, superb quality of photos and a very personal service, I would recommend John to any couple thinking of tying the knot! Tasha Findlay |

Excellent Results We were very pleased with John and Mag's work for our wedding. The service we received before, during and after the wedding was fantastic. Before the wedding everything was planned, on the day they helped out during preparations and took fantastic photos without interfering with our day. Smooth and Unrushed Tristan and I would like to thank you for our beautiful wedding album. Having both you and Mag there on the day was brilliant and it meant you captured all the bits we missed and we had natural shots of our guests which we really wanted as well as the lovely group shots. All of our guests commented on how well you dealt with everyone on the day, everything ran smoothly and we didn't feel rushed at all. We were really impressed with the DVD and with how quickly the pictures were on the website and we thought it was really good that our guests were also able to see the pictures straight away as well.
